Tom writes "I want to be able to pass a variable for the table name. I know I can do it
because if I do it in the asp page it works fine.
Conn.Execute "CREATE TABLE branch " & test & " ( branch_id uniqueidentifier
not null, branch_number int not null, branch_inventory char null)"
but for some reason it's not working in a stored procedure

CREATE PROCEDURE sp_newbranch
@number AS INT
AS
BEGIN
CREATE TABLE @number
(
branch_id uniqueidentifier not null ,
branch_number int not null ,
branch_inventory char null
)
END
GO

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Tom Tiveron"
