I am currently using Windows XP at my company.
Every day when I come in, I enter my username and password to log on to my computer. Then if I want to use my dbs, I go to:
Start => Programs => SQL Servers => Enterprice Mananger and from there, I can see all the dbs that I created including the LOCAL dbs.

But today, I don't see my dbs anywhere. I asked the Administrator if he did move my dbs to somewhere else, he said: "NOPE".

Does anyone have run across this problem?????

Thank you.

Are you sure you are pointing to the correct server?

Your databases didn't disappear. Your Enterprise Manager settings got messed up. That's outside of what a DBA can change. EM settings are local to your machine.

Ask him if he changed anything about your profile or login credentials? I imagine that's what happened.

When life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA.
