Author  Topic  IngoB Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2005-11-07 : 04:34:15 Since weeks I'm trying to move an MSDE-DB to a Windows-2003-Server. Installing MSDE2000 and exporting / importing the database was no problem, locally the application that accesses the DB runs smoothly. Also on NT4.0-Clients - no problem. But the application (that tries to acccess the DB via Tcp/ip natively) on XP-Clients cannot access the DB. Via ODBC using a TCP/IP-connection: no problem (on the XP-Clients!). The Firewall is disabled. I'm looking for help very urgently because even the expert from the aplication-manufacturer ha no idea anymore. Regards, Ingo
