Author  Topic  werowe Starting Member 3 Posts Posted - 2001-03-22 : 13:18:27 A couple months ago I created a DTS package to use the Bulk Insert task for importing a series of large files from a different server. It worked great until last week. Now, when I try to use the Bulk Insert task in a DTS package, I get the following message, "Could not bulk insert because file "blah.txt" could not be opened. Operating System Error 5 (Access Is denied.) I have checked permissions on the file, the file is valid and the path is correct. What can I look at to understand what is wrong? How can I fix this?
