| Steve writes "I am using the Working model of Visual Basic 6.0, service pack 6. I am connected to a MSDE database on my local machine. When I try to use visual data manager, I get the list of tables in the databsae. However, on any table that has a primary key, I get:You must use the dbSeeChanges option with OpenRecordset when accessing a SQL server table that has an identity column. Since I am fairly new to both Visual Basic and SQL Server, I'm not sure how to fix this. I have looked at the MSDN website but they talk about VISDATA.BAS which I don't have in my directories.Any help would be appreciated. I have MSDE 2K service pack 3a installed. Thanks,Steve Hamilton" |
