Giving it a 'dir *.exe' works like charm but 'dir J:\temp\*.exe' doesn't work. It says it can't find the directory while the same commandline works perfectly in the DOS~prompt. I know it should work, can somebody tell me what i'm overlooking??? ThenX! RuupY
