Sriram writes "We are revamping the web site of one of our customers. Some of the customer's data is on DB2 for AS/400 and it is accessed by some of their applications. The web site will be based on SQL Server. We need to access / update the data on AS/400 through the SQL server. 1. Please suggest whether SqlServer2000 or SQL server 7 is more suitable for this in terms of ease of development. 2. Are there any alternatives to SNA server to achieve this? 3. If possible please suggest whether we can simulate the AS400 environment for testing purposes because we dont have AS/400 at our office. Thank You" |
