Author  Topic  denni50 Starting Member 8 Posts Posted - 2013-12-05 : 09:27:53 Hi All, we recently installed a Sql Server db on a server and would like for users to connect to the database via a shortcut on their workstations using Visual Studio. I did create the shortcut on user desktop pointing to the \\server\sqlserver.db then got the missing MSVCR110.dll error message pointing to the devenv.exe(installed the .dll download) and am now getting the below message: "devenv.exe - the application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b)" does anyone know what this means and how do you connect a user in Visual Studio to a server db. thanks for any tips and help.
