Hi Gurus,

We currently have a 2-node active/active cluster and are planning to add a third one soon.

What does microsoft recommend to be used amongst the three of them?

Add another node or another sql instance? You can have have 16 sql instances if physical nodes have enough horsepower.

Shoot! Apologies for being ambiguous.
I meant, we are planning to add a third NODE.
My bad.

That is why I am wondering what we should be using for the private interconnect network.

Oracle recommends a gigabit switch for RAC 10g, do I need one of these for Microsoft?
