Celko has just the right combination of genuine knowledge and pompous arrogance that gives any thread he posts on the potential to become a spectacular flame-war.He’s always entertaining, even when you’re the target. I remember clashing with him many years ago on the old CompuServe SQL Server forum. I dared to post a solution that I said would probably run faster than the solution he posted, and he flamed me for using a SQL Server specific solution instead of generic SQL. I pointed out that we were on a SQL Server forum, not a generic SQL forum, and he didn’t really take that well…CODO ERGO SUM |

He wasn't to keen on me either when I posted a solution which included an ORDER BY, which apparently is an CURSOR operation (which was forbidden).After that, he didn't reply to my other solutions. E 12°55'05.25"N 56°04'39.16" |
