Hi,

I've got a customer using SQL Server 2000 and he keeps getting error messages when the program tries to save anything to a pictures table. I ran the DBCC CheckDB with repair build and repair allow data loss parameters and still didn't fix it. Below are the results of the CheckDB operation:

If the customer doesn't have any backups, you need to get them a backup strategy to avoid more data loss in future. You should also do root-cause analysis to figure out what caused the corruption in the first place.

The repair you've run has deleted data from the PICTURES table (it deleted a data page (page (1:348832) - which was corrupt), plus all the pictures that were linked from the page (all the 8964 errors below). From the names of the other tables, I'm guessing these are either product info pictures or employee photos - you now need to work it which ones are missing and recreate them. I'm guessing you may also have foreign key constraints against the PICTURES table - if so, they're now broken.

What didn't CHECKDB fix? It repaired all the errors it found. Can you post the error the customer is still getting?
