Or there stock...They just went bankrupt:"Unfortunately this email contains very bad news. We have just been informed that any and all last ditch efforts to keep operations running as well as a potential sale of the company have not gone through and that SunRocket will cease operations at COB today. As such, today is my last day and everyone else you may have worked with at SunRocket. … Regarding outstanding and future invoices: Sherwood Partners out of Palo Alto will be handling the close down of all invoices, current and outstanding."Wow..cant believe they left their customers hanging. I dont have their fone service but a buddy of mine did...Programmers HowTo's -- http://jhermiz.googlepages.com |

I do have a few friends that have contract with sunrocket. Unfortunately, almost all of their contracts have been pay upfront for the entire year. So they lose out service for the rest of the year depending on when they signed up. . I am using vonage. I got worried when vonage got into trouble over some patent issues with Verizon. Looks like they have something worked out. But at least I am not on any contract. so I dont lose much, in worst case scenario.Dinakar Nethi************************Life is short. Huh. So a business named "SunRocket" tanks, while another firm with a name analogous to "TinyFlacid" becomes the world's most influential company. So much for my stock picking strategies.e4 d5 xd5 Nf6 |

I think Vonage is still in big trouble. They have a huge turnover in customers and they were spending a lot of money to get new ones. They recently cut way back on spending to get new customers, so they are losing old customers and not getting any new ones.CODO ERGO SUM |

I'd recommend getting out of Vonage as they are losing approximately 50k customers a month. Their value has been shrinking for the last year and they do not sound like they are planning any new services. That's the problem with VOIP..if you don't have anything else like Cable companies you are bound to vanish...I just cant believe they vanished just like that...without telling 200,000 people (referring to SunRocket). Vonage is headed in the same direction as they have lost 3 legal fights and have paid an arm and a leg to verizon in court costs.Their executive team needs to be a bit more creative. Services such as JahJah or is it JaJa and Yahoo / Google's VOIP and some of the free services is killing any VOIP company.Programmers HowTo's -- http://jhermiz.googlepages.com |

Hard to see any way to make money selling something your competitors are giving away for free. It's like trying to make money selling a web browser.CODO ERGO SUM |
