You're trying to attach a SQL Server 2005 database to a SQL Server 2000 server - this does not work. SQL Server is not, and has never been, up-level compatible. Is a copy of the database still attached to a SQL Server 2005 instance somewhere too? What have you done to try to recover it?Paul RandalPrincipal Lead Program Manager, Microsoft SQL Server Core Storage Engine(Legalese: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.)http://blogs.msdn.com/sqlserverstorageengine/default.aspx |
