Should use TOP 1 ORDER BY <your criteria>
DISTINCT will still return more than 1 rows. The OP only wants ONE ANSWER.

And with this, he has gotten 4! I just realized he was pulling our legs since he know this after more than 1540 posts. Therefore I deleted my answer because "I want only one answer"...
I think he needed your link only. Now when I and my girfriend buy our house in May, we are getting the same SC101 with TURBO (1 gig/s transfer). That's why I originally posted DISTINCT, since SC101 comes with 100 meg/s transfer too.

How long have you been using this? Any comments, good or bad, about it?

"How long have you been using this?" 1.5 - 2 year
"Any comments, good or bad, about it?" GOOD - you can put your own HD in there so the capacity is up to you. - Up to 2 HD - Initial firmware version not so stable but the current version is fine. - Does not encounter any issue with the current firmware version. - can mirror partition on same physical disk and as well as to another physical disk BAD - Not as fast as i would expect it to be. But maybe it is because I set it to mirroring - Storage format is not standard. Propitiatory format. Risk of not able to access the HD content when device is down. - 100Mbps only. Not giga

So you can use either RAID 0 (stripe) or 1 (mirroring)? Or only mirroring?
Read the fine-print Only supports mirroring.

Can't remember. Not sure stripe is supported or not. I only use mirroring.

OOH must admit I hadn't seen the T it does look a lot better - I was looking at a LaCie http://www.lacie.com/uk/products/product.htm?pid=10844 which seems nice.
Having said that I mostly have netgear kit at home and find it does pretty much everything I need.
Khtan do the drives need to be matched?

quote: The SC101 is practically maintenance-free. It uses a SAN File System (SFS) that does not need you to defragment it, or to use other Windows utilities such as chkdsk. For the SC101's own defragmenter to work properly — and as with any hard disk, to avoid poor performance — leave 10% free space on each disk or drive. (Remember, the SC101 uses the word drive to mean what is usually called a disk partition.)
