Just curious if this would work...Setup two 2005 SQL Standard Servers. Put one database on the first server and mirror it on the second server. Put a second database on the second server and mirror it to the first. This way, there is HA without a cluster.Is this possible?Thanks! |

Yes, that's fine. Of course if one of the servers goes down, then the other has to handle the load of both databases. |

I wouldn't consider it high availability though. Clustering is just one step to getting to an HA environment.Tara Kizer |
