What does it say in the SQL Server errorlog? What about in the Windows event logs?

These are the logs from sql server
--LogEvent: Failed to report the current event. Operating system error = 31(A device attached to the system is not functioning.).

--SQL Server terminating because of system shutdown.

--SQL Server is terminating due to 'stop' request from Service Control Manager.

From windows event log (descriptions)

--The description for Event ID ( 19011 ) in Source ( MSSQLServer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: (SpnRegister) : Error 1355.

--The description for Event ID ( 17055 ) in Source ( MSSQLSERVER ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: 6006, Server shut down by request.

And now, the names of databases has change to somewhat like guid format (ex. '7DF74EF3-943A-4269-BD2B-F1B0F2153B12')

ok - you're not giving us enough coherent information and I'm sure you need to get this system running more quickly than you will waiting for random people to respond on the internet. I suggest you call Product Support (www.microsoft.com/support) to help you. Sounds kind of like your disk hardware has dropped out from under you.

Thanks
