did you know that honeymooners from the province are often advised to eat balut coz it's supposed to increase stamina (literal translation from tagalog, to make your knees stronger, hah!), similar to the effects of oysters (but mind you, 3 of those will increase your blood pressure so fast, you'll probably get a kick out of it)it's quite tasty, it's a shame it's not appreciated outside of the philippines , once you get used to the idea, it's not so bad, just like eating hard boiled egg, with a twist I'd rather eat balut than durian --------------------keeping it simple... |

I tried the candy (not a good experience), I'm a woos to try the actual fruitchick = just like eating bite sized spring chicken but steamed --------------------keeping it simple... |
