What about the Sinclair stuff, the Oric and the Dragon!One of the first times I used a PC I discovered a list of commands. So I started typing them in to see what would happen. Most didn't appear to do much but one gave "Fatal Disc Error". I immediately learnt not to mess too much -----------Oh, so they have internet on computers now! |

| I bypassed 1.0 (No apps for it and DR DOS was at its peak!) but did use win 2.x for about 3 seconds. It sucked badly.. Didn't touch windows again until win 3.1 for workgroups..DavidMIntelligent Design is NOT science.A front-end is something that tries to violate a back-end. |

| My first Windows PC was 3.11, and I think that was shortly before Win95 came out. A few years ago, I saw copies of Windows 2.something sealed and in the box at a flea market for something like 10 bucks. I almost bought it until I remembered the boxes of obsolete computer junk in my closet and decided I didn't need to add to the pile.~Travis |

| I still have some 256 Kb 8 inch floppy disks, from my CPM/80 system (an Imsai). I may still have some of the 320 Kb, 5.25 inch floppies from the first "busines computer" micro I used, an Archives.A few years after that (around 1980), the Apple ][ and the TRS-80 came around.-PatP |
