| Not knowing the User Name, Password or Host String is all part of security. What you should do now is go to your boss or the person responsible for this machine and get the information and training you need. If you have suddenly become the person responsible, you need to go to your boss and tell him that you can't work without the proper security information.And by the way, isn't SQL+ just the client tool that comes with Oracle? When you say that SQL+ doesn't start, do you really just mean that you can't connect to your Oracle database because you don't know the proper credentials? Or is the software itself corrupted?
