Paresh writes "I am doing a project for my organization as a part of our management development program. The project is on Data Mining, or how to collect new data, use and exploit the existing data to predict customer behavior and market trends. I feel, this would be a great project. But I don't even have the faintest clue as to where to begin? Is there some sort of "path" that I can take to make it happen?Mind you this is not a consultant level project. It is more academic in nature and would like to have one or two good sized examples. Thanks for help in advance.RegardsParesh Motiwala781 254 4096" |

I am not sure if this is the place to ask this question. SQL Server has some tools that can be used for certain types of data mining, but it's hard to know if they are what you need for your situation. It sounds like you need to start with the basics of the whole subject of Data Mining. I believe I have seen web sites devoted to the subject, so I think you should start with Google on "Data Mining" to get you pointed to some place that is focused on that subject.CODO ERGO SUM |
