One of my buddies is a dealer for bottled drinks and wants to allow his clients to order online. So I told him I'd give him a hand with the site but I am not to certain how to integrate the site with ordering (credit card integration). Is there a good source to look at? Should I totally tell him to outsource this portion? Is there a simple package that I could use?Basically I have the site ready to go...What I am missing is the credit card / shopping cart information. Thanks,Jon Keeping the web experience alive -- http://www.web-impulse.comImperfection living for perfection -- http://jhermiz.blogspot.com/ |

Sign up for one of the many companies that will deal with this side of things for you. Common ones are, for example, worldpay, though others may charge less of a percentage. Either way it's got to be easier than building your own wheel. Most of the online ordering companies will integrate reasonably with an existing website.-------Moo. :) |

I've got Experience with Intellipay.com. I wrapped their stuff up with ASP.net so I have my pages that talk to their site behind the scences.Watch out for all of the setup fees from the bank and processor. Unless you do a good amount of business through the internet, you can lose much more money than you make.Michael<Yoda>Use the Search page you must. Find the answer you will.</Yoda> |

Check the rest of the pricing of services, you'll find we're a low-cost provider, and this is right in line with that. Our approach is lower margin / higher volume. No need to rip off the little guy. Powerful technology done right keeps costs down.---------------------------EmeraldCityDomains.com |

Maybe I should give you a call mark ?See we arent expecting to sell too much, we'd love to have credit card / debit card ways to check the process out...After I saw the posts I thought maybe just paypal, but not everyone knows much about paypal..would love to use the credit card service...but is it really just 50 bucks a year ? This being credit card transactions ?Ill have to read more later on right now Im trying to get some linux server monitoring software working :| Keeping the web experience alive -- http://www.web-impulse.comImperfection living for perfection -- http://jhermiz.blogspot.com/ |

There are some additional considerations such as having an SSL certificate, etc. You can email through here or there. Or to get better live-person support with all the technical details, call the support phone number on the site.---------------------------EmeraldCityDomains.com |
