i've seen it happen a few times now to me too.
sometimes a post gets an edited flag for no reason that
i can see.
i mean i post the post :) and a few days later it gets an edited tag without me ever touching it.

any ideas why? just curious...

Hmmm. Is there a specific post you can show me? Now and then we move things to a different forum but that's usually it. And we normally post a message that we're moving it when that happens.

ufff.... you got me there... if it happens again i'll let you know and i'll remember the post.
but considering our dear friend Murphy and his laws,
it won't ever happen again and i'll end up thinking what's wrong with me ....
