OK, I guess this is the spot.A devloper takes medical forms from a hospital. Scans them in as jpg's.Each is 1 mb.They then take the image and make it bound to a report in Access, they then plave the fields to match the boxes on the form, so form processing can be "automatic"BIG problem is the size of the image.Any comments how to make this better or any wat experiences?Also Anything like word merge that might make this better?Anything to convert the image into rtf?Brett8-) |

You might search for a recent conversation between Seventhknight and I. We scan images as 2 bit multipage tiffs. They are smaller than anything else we have tried. (If black and white works for you...)--KenI want to die in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming in terror like his passengers. |
