| Reuters/AP - In other news, China launched Tara Duggan into space, making her the first astronaut/DBA. The mission will mark the first time SQL Server was administered by someone in orbit. When asked about their choice, Chinese officials said "We wanted to say thanks to SQL Team for all the help they've given our database administrators, by sending one of their members into space. And to give some of the other members a chance to answer a question before Tara did." However, Ms. Duggan has indicated that monitoring the spacecraft is infinitely easier than handling a replicated, clustered SQL Server installation, so she'll have plenty of time to answer forum posts during the mission. Nice Job! |
