Whats SELECT @@POST = NEWID() supposed to mean?

Try it

select * from sysobjects order by newid()
Then try it again (not on a nt4 m/c though)

run
select newid(), * from sysobjects to see why it happenning.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
