I don't think these two are related. Although I'm not sure why that isn't working. That's about the simplest INSERT statement on the site. And the SQL looks ok to me. Performance seems to be up and down today. Earlier it was bad, but it seems ok now. Unfortunately when I'm at work I'm kind of limited in my ability to troubleshoot.
