Yeah, too bad...I'd rather have root canal...have you ever seen IBMs "books Online"? PAINFUL.Thanks everyone. Look forward to all the good advice in the future!(I still think 0 is not a vaild datatype...but that's a holdover from DB2)...and a MOO there, and a Bovine Moo for the insiprator...even though they don't mean the same thing...Brett8-) |

I wish I could have RAISERROR output to smileys and eight balls instead of plain ol' text, it would make using SQL Server a little more colorful.Way to go Brett! [cheers]Justin"Contrary to its syntax GETDATE() still leaves you alone on Friday night." |

Thanks. I've always felt that SQL was an untapped resource of comic material. "Did you hear the one about the NULL that never compared well to the others? He was a little too ANSI"Ba-dum ching. "I love this crowd."Justin"Contrary to its syntax GETDATE() still leaves you alone on Friday night."Edited by - justinbigelow on 05/30/2003 11:15:10 |

The sane way to do it would be use Figlet or similar to generate the big letters, and then replace the output characters with smileys, which would take a couple of minutes. |
