| dot net and asp.net are basically the same thing.In simpler terms, I would say(1) dot net(2) . netasp simply means active server pages, which was the original name given to Microsoft's first scripting technology, which used vbscript, it was later developed into a framework, called dot net or .net and for the web it is called asp.net and for desktop applications its .net And the languages vary, most popular being C#, vb etcHope this helps |
