Hi..I have installed the SQL server 2005 from the disk..It has installed all the tools like SSMS, BIDS and all..but when I try to login to the local server using . (dot) in the server name in SSMS..I am getting the network related error..so when I go to the configuration manager..I dont see any services in the services window..when I go to the surface configuration..it is giving me an error..NO sql server 2005 components were found on the specified computer..I dont understand this..I have installed everything from the disk then why dont I see any services..even in the services.msc, I dont see any sql server related services there..can anyone please help me with this..Thanks in advancea |

I selected everything during the installation..I also downloaded another dvd..and ran setup through it..it also gave me the same options.. :( |
