Hi There

We have just moved from SQL Server 2005 to 2008.

I am using SQL Server Management Studio 2008 with SQL Server 2008 SP3 applied (so SSMS2008 version 10.0.5500.0)

In the 2008 management studio when clicking on the New Query button the drop down list of databases on the button bar menu shows master as the default DB.

Is there a way to change the default DB to a different DB ?

I'm sure you could do this in 2005 but can't seem to find an option for changing it in 2008 ?

Thanks

Remembered it now.

On the connect to Server login window click on the connection properties tab and select the database you want to have as the default when you're logged in.

These help if anyone has similar issues...
