| Hi,I'm trying to instal sql server 2008 R2 (at windows 7), but I encounter an error at the installation, the error text is "the service did not start due to a logon failure", please help me how can I fix the problem?--additional information--I installed sql server 2008 some days ago and I restored a .bak database with it but I couldn't attach any database at sql server or visual studio, then I uninstalled sql and visual studio and reinstalled again, but now the installation has failure.thank you for helping |

| thank you for helping,I changed the properties of sql server at services to Local system but it didn't work and I reinstalled it but I encounter the same error, and the installation was with failures and I couldn't connect to sql server and run the program. I don't know why I encounter this problem, the first time that I installed this version of sql server at my computer, I didn't encounter any problem.I don't know what should I do, I uninstalled and reinstalled several times but it has the same error.. |
