| Good Day. I am a bit curious how online indexing works . Does the database system himself decide the index has reached a threashold value and rebuilds the index on the fly or is during a routine index rebuild job the index is rebuilt on the side and only when the rebuilt is complete the defragged index is replaced ?Any ideas ? |
