What are they set to now? Have you run out of space on the drive? Or do you want to increase the file size?

Do you have Autogrowth set on? To a set size or unrestricted growth?

Try this?

ALTER DATABASE [<dbname>] MODIFY FILE ( NAME = N'<dbname>', SIZE = 5120KB )
GO
