In SQL Server Mirroring, When a principal system is Shut down, the another system(Mirror System) is not acting as a principal system, when we request a connection to that SQL Server the connection cannot be established. But when we failover the Principal Mirror manually by clicking on failover button, its working fine.I need the idea to detect the failure of the Principal system.orwhen the principal gets turned off,the mirror system should act as Principal.Plz help me.Thanks,Narender. |
