Hi all SQL server experts

I have encountered an odd error situation. When I browse the database tables in Management Studio I am allowed to see columns (unfold Columns folder) for one maybe two or three tables (sometimes none) then I get this error:

FCB::Open failed: Could not open file C:\inetpub\wwwroot\dotnetnuke\App_Data\Database.mdf for file number 1. OS error: 32(failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 15100).

After this if I try to unfold any Columns folder I get this error:

Database C:\......\Database.mdf cannot be opened due to inascessible files or insufficient memory or disk space. See the SQL Server errorlog for details. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error:945)

I have used Process Explorer to check if there is another process locking the database, but it does'nt seem so.

If I restart the computer I can get a new set of tries before the error kicks in.

Is there any suggestions to what might be wrong? I'm going crazy over this.

Thanks for your help!
/Louise
