Hi -,I was querying the master.sys.database_principals on a SQL server 2005 from a SQL server 2008;the query i was using was:exec xp_cmdshell 'sqlcmd -S "ServerA" -Q "SET NOCOUNT ON SELECT * FROM master.sys.database_principals WHERE type IN (''S'')" -W -h-1'it gave me one more user than running the query 'SET NOCOUNT ON SELECT * FROM master.sys.database_principals WHERE type IN ('S')' locally on the 2005 server.I was just wondering could the server version be the problem? Many thanks!Connie |
