hi all..
can any explain me about reorganizing nd rebuilding indexes..wht was the main difference between these two..i dont want any links..plz explain me ...

I'm not rewriting Books Online, there are good explanations in there. The following page has a nice summary of what the two do and when they should probably be used.

SQL SERVER – Difference Between Index Rebuild and Index Reorganize Explained with T-SQL Script

Index Rebuild : This process drops the existing Index and Recreates the index.
USE AdventureWorks;
GO
ALTER INDEX ALL ON Production.Product REBUILD
GO

Index Reorganize : This process physically reorganizes the leaf nodes of the index.
USE AdventureWorks;
GO
ALTER INDEX ALL ON Production.Product REORGANIZE
GO
