Hi All,New to this so please be patient with my ignorance.  Have new application that used SQL Server 2008 Express Edition. Want to set up backup jobs from our Standard Edition box but when connect to server there is no SQL Server Agent available. Questions is what we need to configure to be able to connect and complete our tasks.Any help is highly appreciated!!! |

| SQL Server Express edition doesnt come with SQL Agent. You'll have to create custom scripts and use windows task scheduler or any third party scheduler for scheduling jobs. |
