| I have a server with sql 2008 r2, that has only databases that are created and then are static for long periods of time. In fact, some may never get added to after the original creation but need to stay available throughout the project that may last 2 months to 2 years. I am only going to back these files up once a month. What else should I add to the maintenance plan and in what order? I'm thinking Shrink db, Rebuild Index, Check db, Backup db. Should I add update statistics or anything else? Should I delete or rearrange anything?Thanks in advance.10Dawg |
