It's pretty easy to do - depending on the type - snapshot,merge,transactional, log shipping, push, pull,...Where do you want the distributor?You can test it on a dev instance (or two) on your desktop. It test it by changing some data and seeing if it replicates and also by looking at the monitor.It's useful to have a test system for changes and replicating issues.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
