| hi,I've a sql standard solution with a database's size of 10 GB for 20 client.Now i must to change the server and i've two solution with the same cost:1) Dell server poweredge t310 with 8gb Ram,raid 1 solution with 2 sas 450 15k disk,processor intel xeon x5660 (2,8 GHz,12 MB cache) and win 2008 x64 (join to domain)2) Dell precision t7500 with 8 gb Ram,no raid solution,2 disk 256 SSD,processor intel xeon x5660 (2,8 GHz,12 MB cache) and win 7 pro x64 (join to domain)In this case my priority it's performance not the safetly condition (RAID), that can be optional.Have some idea or other solution? |
