| I have installed sqlserver2008 in my laptop and I tried to install informatica 8.6 and tried to working with MSSQL database. But I am stuck at domain configuration step. I used windows authentication and default instanse name 'MSSQLSERVER' also I am using port number 1433 which is default port. UID and PW I supplied windows UID and PW. But still I did not get success. This is the first time I tried to install informatica. I am using windows7 home premium OS.Could any one help me please with detail.Andy |

| Did you guys have any luck proceeding further? I am stuck at the same step where I provided all the information to create domain database. I would be grateful if any of you could let me know what mistake I am doing here.Thank youHari. |
