| Hi I have just installed sql server 2008 on windows 7 and also SP2. Prior to this I had attempted to install sqlexpress. SQL Server 2008 installed ok but when I look in sql configuration manager I have MSSQLSERVER running but I also have SQLEXPRESS running. I can connect to SQLEXPRESS (it has my pcname\sqlexpress. But I cannot connect to MSSQLSERVER wven tho it is showing to be running. I thought that I had uninstalled everything sql wise prior to installing 2008. Any help pleaseRegards Phill |
