| Hi,I configured the system to use maxdop of 8 (Instance configuration). I see in dm_os_waiting_tasks sessions that have more than 8 tasks.I thought the amount of tasks per session was the actual DOP.Were can I see the degree of parallelism and why are they more tasks per session than MAXDOP ?Thanks very much !!SQL Server ConsultantMadeirawww.madeira.co.il |

IMHO the MAXDOP says how many processors a running statement can use...
