Hi guys,

i am writing a technical test and have come up with mixed answers for the following question:

How would you setup a Microsoft SQL Server cluster for business critical databases with especially high I/O.

can you guys give me your opinion on the 'best' answer?

There isn't really a 'best' answer. The way to approach the problem is by absorbing information about suitable architectures for high IO - and developing a solution. An answer could consider IO configurations for :
CPU Cores
Windows
SQL Server
Cache
FC HBA
FC HBA
Fibre Channel Switch
Storage Controller
Storage Controller Cache
Disk
LUN
