Hmmmm, I can't find a download for Management Studio.

Do you have to run the full 2008 install and then choose 'Client Tools' only?

Thanks, John

That's the easiest way to do it, if you've already got the disc.

Hi,

Do you need the Management Studio Express?!

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM - Management Studio Express

Robvolk, I don't have an install disc but I have the 5 GB install files I downloaded from Microsoft.

Question - I need to be able to work with 64 bit and 32 bit instances with whichever Management Studio I install.

if I install management Studio from the 64 bit install files, I will be alright, correct?

yuval14 - No, Express will not do.

Thanks, John

Management Studio works with any edition and CPU architecture for SQL Server.
