We have a outsourced SQL team running a GP dynamics databasae package for client.

Suddenly there was an error this weekend.. 1st it locked the origional database. Could not dismount. We had a backup.

Now, when they try and create a new backup maintenance plan so we can back those up, there is an error.

Scenario:
Windows 2008
SQL 2008

From TECH: (Remeber - we are NOT Sql admins/developers.)

" We are unable to create scheduled backup plan.
I even tried to modify existing backup plan, however in both cases we get some public key related error message.

Also tried using sa as well as windows login to create scheduled backup in both cases results are same.

Need to seriously identify why it’s happening & resolve it.

Please help to resolve listed error or Help to identify different server box to install SQL & then move NAV database."

Error message he gave: Dialouge box.
Create maintenance plan failed:
Ad info:
could not load type" Microsoft.SqlServer.management.SMO.Agent.Jobasecollection' from assembly'Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo, version=9.0.242.0, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=long string of numbers' (MS.sqlserver.maintenanceplantaks)

That's it.

1. What else do you all need?
2. What could be causing this?

Thank you for your guidance.
