Sql Server 2008r2 recently upgraded from 2000
We are receiving the following error during a differential backup:
There is insufficient system memory in resource pool 'internal' to run this query. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 701) BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 3013). The step failed.
Any ideas?

Grant the SQL Server service account the "lock pages in memory" privilege via Local Security Policy (Admin Tools).
