I would like to create a connection between Excel 2010 and SQL Server that will automatically populate the spreadsheet with the contents of the table whenever I open Excel. Is this possible?Your help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance,Zack H. |

Actually, yes...really easy.Using MS Query (for a query)or a SQL Server connection (for a whole table/view results), you can specify the external data source to refresh on file open in the properties of that connection definition. Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. |
