hey guys, Im new to this forum but I had a few questions. Over the past 2-3 months, our SQL database seems to be inaccessible. It is online/mounted, and it can be queried in SQL. However, on our GUI, its reporting errors. I dont think this is coding, since nothing has changed. What seems to work is if I kick off a backup within SQL. Once the SQL backup is done, then the database is accessible again. Im not sure what the backup could be doing that causes it to work, and I have tried to find the white papers on the backup policy, but I was unsuccessful. Do you all have any ideas for me?thanks |

What are the exact error messages you're getting? What do you see in the event logs and SQL Server logs? |
